NORTH STAR

A refresh used to drop you onto the desktop even with a passkey set; it now returns to the lock screen, which also gained an analog clock and up to three widgets. The 11 items on the right of the menu bar were a fixed set: each one now toggles, drags into any order and can take a divider, and 5 of them are new, including a live price ticker and a one-click theme switch. Widget Center was rebuilt around search, category tabs and a sort control. On the site, 5 tool hubs group the apps by task and 10 app pages carry copy written for what people search rather than the product name.

    The lock screen holds through a refresh

    With a passkey set, reloading the page used to skip the lock screen; the session now starts locked and stays there until the passkey is entered, with an option to disconnect the wallet and continue from the same screen. The clock switches between digital and analog, the date can be hidden, and up to 3 widgets sit below it: calendar, Fear and Greed, and BTC, ETH or SOL price.

Settings shows a live preview and a Restore Defaults action.
