Your privacy is our priority. Here's how we protect it.

Our Privacy Commitment

Hexn is built on the fundamental principle that your privacy is a basic human right. We don't track you, we don't store your personal data, and we don't sell your information to anyone.

What We DON'T Collect

  • Personal information (name, email, phone number)
  • IP addresses or location data
  • Search history or query logs
  • Browser fingerprints or tracking cookies
  • User profiles or behavioral data

What We DO Collect (Minimal)

  • Theme Preference

Stored locally in your browser to remember your dark/light mode preference

  • Anonymous Usage Statistics

Basic server logs for performance monitoring (no personal data)

No Server-Side Tracking

Our servers don't log search queries, IP addresses, or any identifiable information. Each search is processed independently without creating user profiles.

No Third-Party Trackers

We don't use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other tracking services. Your browsing behavior stays completely private.

Secure Connections

All connections to Hexn are encrypted using HTTPS. Your searches are protected from eavesdropping and man-in-the-middle attacks.

Open Source Transparency

Our entire codebase is open source. You can audit our privacy practices and verify that we do exactly what we say we do.

Data Retention

Since we don't collect personal data, there's nothing to retain. The minimal technical logs we keep for server performance are automatically deleted after 7 days and contain no personally identifiable information.

Your theme preference is stored locally in your browser and never leaves your device.

Your Rights

Since we don't collect personal data, traditional data rights (access, deletion, portability) don't apply in the usual sense. However, you have the right to:

  • Use Hexn completely anonymously
  • Clear your local browser data at any time
  • Audit our open-source code
  • Contact us with any privacy concerns
