Capabilities

What this app actually does.

01

What it adds

A command line with support for common commands, plus your wallet, swap quotes, market data and on-chain lookups without leaving the keyboard. Quotes are read-only; signing happens in the app that builds the transaction.

What it reads

Whatever the command you run reads: wallet state, prices, chain data.

03

How it acts

The app does not ask the connected wallet to sign a transaction.

Research & workflow

Reach common Web3 workflows without leaving the keyboard

Terminal provides a fast command surface for system actions, wallet context, market data, quotes and chain lookups. Read-only commands can stay in the terminal, while anything that requires a signature hands execution back to the app responsible for building the transaction.

How it fits into Hexncoin

Terminal opens as a registered Hexncoin application and shares the same window manager, app switching and workspace navigation as the rest of the system. Its public page links directly into the running OS, so the handoff from reading about the capability to using it stays short.

Installation and availability

Always installed as part of Hexncoin OS and available as part of the workspace itself.

The useful boundary

Installation determines where the app appears in the interface. Registration determines whether Hexncoin can open it directly. Those are separate concerns, which keeps optional and archived apps linkable without pretending they are always pinned to the workspace.

Wallet boundary

Know what the app can ask for.

TIER 1 / 3Read your address

An app at this tier sees the address you connected and reads what any block explorer reads: balances, tokens, past activity. That needs no signature and moves nothing. The App Center, System Preferences and the Terminal stop here, and so does every app above them before it builds anything.

Terminal can use the connected address for context without asking the wallet to sign. See the full permission model on the security page.

Ratings & reviews.

Feedback comes from people using Terminal through the App Center. If nobody has rated it yet, the page says so instead of manufacturing a score.

Nobody has rated Terminal yet. Open it from the App Center and you can be the first. The number here is whatever real people leave, never a borrowed one.

Version 2.4.1

No votes on this release yet. Whether an update worked is counted per version, so a good app with a bad build can still say so.

Ratings and per-release votes are left from inside the app. Open Terminal to add yours.
