1.8.6
The menu bar had two dropdowns a pixel apart answering halves of one question: which chain am I on, and is it answering. There is one, inside the wallet, and the health of the link survives as a 5px pip on the wallet's mark with the full reading in its tooltip. Connecting inside Phantom's in-app browser never settled, and the phone island's wallet tab read a balance, blanked it to a dash and read it again without stopping. Both loops are fixed.

Highlights
- 01
One connection control, not two
The node was never a separate thing to come to the chrome and check; it is what the wallet's chain is being read through. Its panel is now a section of the wallet's, which reports in the order the questions get asked: which chain, at which address, through whose node, and whether it is answering. Three chain cards at 44px become three rows at 32px, which is what pays for the connection reading underneath them.
- 02
The wallet stops looping
A session that never asked for an Ethereum address resolved no EVM provider, and the hook returned a fresh empty object on every render, so the island's balance fetch re-ran itself forever. Connecting inside Phantom's browser hit a second loop, where widening the session tore down the live one and asked the replacement to connect again. A Solana session gets one connect and one balance read.

Three permission tiers, described once
Permission descriptions are aligned with the supported wallet model, and Solana Hub's site page renders with the correct capability information.
Everything in this release
Improved3
- The menu bar's node dropdown is folded into the wallet's. One control answers which chain, which address, whose node and whether it is live.
- The link's health is a pip on the corner of the wallet's mark, with the chain, the provider, the state and the round trip in the tooltip.
- The security page, the about page, the app pages and the privacy policy describe three permission tiers rather than four, and the assurances about what Hexncoin never receives are back where they were cut with the feature they were mistaken for.
Fixed3
- Connecting from inside Phantom's in-app browser settles. Widening a Solana session to an EVM address used to replace the live session underneath the user and then wait on a connect that never returned.
- The island's wallet tab reads a balance once. It was refetching on every render, so the figure appeared, blanked to a dash and appeared again for as long as the tab was open.
- Solana Hub's site page renders with permission information that matches the supported wallet model.
