DECUS

The price chart in the Solana Hub's Market tab becomes something you can work rather than something you look at. It opens the way it did, on price with the market's own temperature shaded behind it, and it will now also draw the window as candles, follow the pointer with a crosshair that reads out on both scales, and let you sweep across any stretch to see what it did before zooming into it. There is a moving average to read price against, a three-day range between the day and the week, and arrow keys for anyone who would rather not use a pointer. Elsewhere, notifications now know when they were raised and how long they are worth interrupting for: Notification Center reports the age of each one, and anything past its window is filed quietly instead of arriving as an alert nobody needed. The standing Market Update card that every profile carried until it was dismissed has been retired. Signing in with a social account through Phantom returns you to the desktop connected, rather than signed out with nothing to show for it.

A price chart you can actually work

The Market tab's chart made one good argument, that how hard the market is moving belongs behind the price rather than in a second panel underneath it, and then gave you no way to interrogate it: one fixed window, one dashed line, one tooltip. The argument stays and the instrument catches up. Price now draws three ways, as a filled area, as a plain line, or as candles built from the hourly prices, with the bar interval picked to suit the width of the window so the bodies stay readable whether the Hub is full screen or in a narrow panel. A crosshair follows the pointer and reports on both scales at once, the price against the right-hand axis where a trading screen keeps it and the timestamp under the plot, with the values themselves in the corner of the chart so reading one never means looking away from where the cursor is.

Sweep a stretch to measure it, then zoom into it

Wanting to know what a particular two days did used to mean doing the arithmetic from a tooltip at each end. Drag across the chart instead: while you hold it, the selection reports the move across that stretch and how long it lasted, and letting go zooms the chart into it. The scales, the shading, the high and low marks and the opening line all follow, so the zoomed window reads exactly like the full one. Double-click, press Escape, or use Reset zoom to come back out. Zooming survives the chart's own refresh, so a window you are studying is not pulled out from under you every thirty seconds.

Overlays you can turn off, and a range between the day and the week

A moving average can be drawn over the price, sized to the range you are looking at and taken across the whole series rather than the visible slice, so zooming in does not quietly redraw the trend price is being compared against. The volatility shading and the opening line are each a switch now, for the times when the cleanest read is the line on its own. The range control gains three days alongside twenty-four hours and seven, day boundaries are marked once a window is wide enough for them to mean something, and the whole chart answers the keyboard: arrow keys walk the crosshair, Home and End jump to the ends of the window, Escape clears it.

Notifications know when they were raised

A notification used to be a message and nothing else. Notification Center said "now" against every row however long it had been sitting there, and a notification left the list four seconds after it arrived, at the same moment its alert did. Each one now carries the time it was raised and a window it is worth interrupting for. The list shows how long ago it arrived, the full date and time, and how much of that window is left; anything that turns up past its window is filed silently and listed as Expired, still there to read but no longer demanding to be read now. Alerts and the list are separate, so dismissing the first no longer throws away the second.

Everything in this release

New7

  • The Solana Hub's price chart draws as a filled area, a plain line, or candles built from the hourly prices, with the bar interval chosen to suit the width of the window.
  • A crosshair reads out on both scales at once: the price under the pointer against the right-hand axis, the time under the plot, and the values themselves in the corner of the chart.
  • Dragging across the price chart reports the move and the length of the stretch you are holding, then zooms into it. Double-click, Escape, or Reset zoom returns to the full window.
  • A moving average sized to the range can be drawn over the price, and the volatility shading and the opening line can each be switched off.
  • The price chart offers a three-day range alongside the day and the week, and marks day boundaries once the window is wide enough for them to mean something.
  • Notifications carry the time they were raised and a window they are worth alerting for. Notification Center shows how long ago each one arrived, the full date and time, and how much of that window is left.
  • sys notify in Terminal takes an expiry: --expires 2h, 30m, or off.

Improved3

  • The price chart answers the keyboard: arrow keys walk the crosshair, Home and End jump to the ends of the window, Escape clears it. On a phone it claims horizontal gestures only, so the page still scrolls underneath it.
  • A notification stays in Notification Center after its alert has gone, instead of leaving the list at the moment the alert disappeared.
  • A notification that arrives past its window is filed silently and listed as Expired, so it can be read without interrupting anything.

Fixed1

  • Signing in with a social account through Phantom returns you to the desktop connected. The sign-in completed but handed back a disconnected wallet, leaving the whole thing to start again.

Removed1

  • The standing Market Update card that appeared in Notification Center for every profile until it was dismissed, and the alert it raised on a first visit.
