1.6.4

DECUS

Activity Monitor is removed because its request diagnostics were developer-facing rather than useful day-to-day. Pump.fun's launch flow now explains when transaction size changes the available execution options before approval, and removes a slippage setting that did not apply to a new launch.

Highlights

A launch no longer drops your priority fee in silence

A create-and-buy carries a couple of dozen accounts plus the coin's name, ticker and image link, which leaves almost nothing spare against the size Solana will accept. The priority fee is one of the first things there is no room for, so the app tries the fuller versions first and gives up whichever it must. That fallback is still right; being quiet about it was not. The launch now reports whether the fee survived, and when it did not, the approval step says the transaction goes out at the base rate and may take longer to land. The moment to learn that is while you can still cancel, not after the launch has expired.

The launch form no longer implies a slippage cap it never had

Launching offered a 10% slippage tolerance that was thrown away before the transaction was built. Nothing was wrong with the launch, since it sets its own tolerance and prices against a fresh market with nothing to move against in the first place. But a setting that is accepted and ignored reads like a protection that is being applied. It is removed from the launch path entirely, and the reason it does not belong there is written down where the next person will look for it.

Activity Monitor is removed, and its logging with it

Activity Monitor and its request history are retired rather than merely removed from fresh profiles. The shell keeps only lightweight live activity indicators instead of a separate diagnostics app.

Everything in this release

Improved1

  • Activity Monitor is retired rather than merely dropped from the default set, so a profile that stored it loses the home-screen tile instead of keeping one that opens nothing. Every surface takes its app count from the one catalogue, so the site now says 27 apps without a number being retyped.

Fixed1

  • A Pump.fun launch that was too large to carry its priority fee dropped the fee without saying so. The launch still signed and still landed at a quiet moment, but at a busy one it could expire while the fee setting sat on screen unapplied. The approval step now states when a transaction is going out at the base rate.

Removed2

  • The slippage tolerance on the Pump.fun launch form. It was offered and then thrown away, since a launch prices against a market that does not exist yet and sets its own tolerance regardless.
  • Activity Monitor, and the request history behind it. What remains is only the busy indicator, which keeps no record of what was fetched.
