1.6.3

DECUS

This release is about making the words match the software. A new security page states what each app may ask of a wallet, in three tiers with the widest capability last, and the same list is what the site publishes for machines to read, so the claim and the disclosure cannot drift apart. Several long-standing descriptions were simply wrong and are corrected: Uniswap has executed real swaps since 1.5.7 while its App Store entry still said they were simulated, the site advertised twenty-three apps while shipping twenty-eight, and a headline figure counted eight networks when three are ones a wallet can actually act on. None of those were close calls.

Highlights

  • 01

A security page, because connecting is a real decision

What each app can ask of a wallet, in three tiers with the worst case last: read your address, ask you to sign, and ask you to approve an allowance. Alongside it: what we do not hold, that the client is closed source and unaudited, that the parts which move money are the protocols' own, that our Ethereum endpoint physically cannot broadcast, and where to send a vulnerability. The tiers written here are the same ones the site publishes for machines to read, so a capability cannot gain a tier without gaining its disclosure at the same time.

  • 02

The App Store copy now matches the software

Uniswap's entry described its swaps as simulated with no funds moving; they have executed for real on Ethereum and Base since 1.5.7, and its token approvals are scoped to the exact trade amount rather than the conventional unlimited allowance. Portfolio's entry claimed to be read-only for three releases after it started signing. Both are corrected, and the app list every surface reads from is now kept in one place rather than as a copy on the About page and a number typed on the front page, which is how twenty-eight installed apps came to be advertised as twenty-three.

  • 03

    Three networks, counted honestly

The headline figure said eight or more networks by counting every chain an explorer can read. Reading a chain is not the same as acting on it: three are selectable end to end, where a wallet connects, balances read and transactions sign. It now says three, and the wider explorer reach, BNB Chain, Tron, Bitcoin and XRP among them, is described in words beside it instead of inflating a number that every sentence around it contradicted.

  • 04

Metadata written for the things that actually read it

The keyword tag is gone, since no search engine has read it in over a decade, and the facts it carried moved somewhere they are actually consumed. What the site publishes about itself now names what it costs, what it requires, what it asks permission for and where its release notes are. A monitored support address replaces a social handle as the channel for privacy and security requests, since a written request under the GDPR or CCPA needs somewhere it can be made and answered.

Everything in this release

New2

  • A security page: the three tiers of what an app may ask a wallet for, what Hexncoin does not hold, what is closed source and unaudited, and how to report a vulnerability. Linked from the footer, the sitemap and the installed app's shortcuts.
  • A monitored support address for privacy and security correspondence, with a stated 30-day response for data requests, replacing a social handle as the only route.

Improved3

  • What the site publishes about itself now declares its permissions, browser requirements, release notes and separate privacy and security contacts, and describes itself plainly enough that a reader which only understands the general category still gets the record.
  • The privacy policy is re-dated and covers what actually ships: real transactions on three networks, the irreversibility of a trade or a burn, and a plain statement that there is no Hexncoin token and anything trading under the name is fraudulent.
  • The About page no longer opens with the front page's own paragraph. It is the detail underneath the positioning, covering every app, how wallet login works and what each app may ask for, rather than a second page competing for the same words.

Fixed4

  • Uniswap's App Store entry said swaps were simulated and no funds moved. They have executed on Ethereum and Base since 1.5.7. Portfolio's entry said it never signs or sends a transaction, which stopped being true when it gained the ability to send.
  • The site advertised twenty-three apps while shipping twenty-eight. The list is now read from one place by every surface that counts it, so the number cannot fall behind again.
  • The network count claimed eight or more by counting read-only explorer support alongside chains a wallet can act on. It reports the three that are selectable end to end.
  • The link preview image declared itself a PNG while being a JPEG, which every card renderer read as a mismatch.

Removed1

  • The keywords tag. Search engines stopped reading it long ago, and the facts worth stating moved somewhere they are used.
