DECUS

DEX Screener's dashboard now leads with short market interpretations that link back to the rows behind them, while temporary source problems keep the last useful data visible instead of emptying the screen. Files becomes a fuller file manager, QR Studio adapts to its window, and View exposes settings that were previously harder to reach.

Highlights

  • 01

    The screener states its conclusions

The dashboard opens on one figure and one sentence, then works down toward the evidence: findings, totals, distribution, backing, the named rows, cohorts, heat. A finding is only made when the screen is large enough to support it and always prints the number behind it, so you can disagree with the threshold rather than having to trust it. Two reads that nothing on the page could make before: how much of the day's volume sits in its five heaviest names, and how far apart its winners and losers actually are.

  • 02

Temporary source limits keep the screen useful

The last good answer is kept and served when GeckoTerminal refuses, so a burst of refusals becomes data a few minutes behind instead of an error for everyone sharing the address. When the source asks to be left alone for a while, that wait is respected, and one refusal pauses everything else rather than each request discovering the wall for itself. A missing address is still reported as missing, because something that is not indexed must not be papered over with an old answer.

  • 03

    Files is a file manager

Select a range or a scattered set, copy or cut and paste, with folders copying everything inside them, duplicate, rename in place, drag a selection into a folder, and undo any of it. Drop files in from the desktop to import them and send any selection back out. Search covers either the current folder or everything beneath it. Desktop and mobile now behave identically, so the two layouts cannot drift apart on what an action does.

  • 04

QR Studio fits the window it is in

The app was laid out against the display, so a narrow window on a wide screen still spent a quarter of itself on a navigation rail with three destinations in it. It now reads its own width: a single column with bottom tabs when narrow, preview above form in the middle, and a sticky preview-and-style rail beside the editor when there is room. The code redraws as you type, a saved code loads back into the editor with its colours intact, and the whole app takes on the colour of the kind of code you are building.

  • 05

The View menu carries the settings

The menu held browser edit commands, cut, copy and undo, that duplicated what the keyboard already does and acted on whatever happened to be focused. It now holds the desktop's own settings, said as menu rows: appearance and accent, dock position, auto-hide and magnification, traffic-light side, the zoom switcher, and full screen. Each row ticks when it is the current setting, so the menu reports the state as well as changing it.

Everything in this release

New8

  • Findings on the DEX Screener dashboard: breadth, concentration, dispersion, risk-flag share, turnover and market leadership read against named thresholds and stated in words, ordered by how distinctive each one is rather than by a fixed checklist.
  • Clicking a finding narrows the screen to the rows that produced it, and clicking a chain, venue or sector filters to it. Every claim on the page is a way in.
  • Concentration and dispersion measures: the share of volume held by the five heaviest rows, how many rows account for half of it, the 10th and 90th percentile of the day's moves, and the share of rows beyond ±10%.
  • Multi-selection, a copy/cut/paste clipboard, duplicate, drag-to-move, import from the desktop, export, and undo across all of it in Files, with one confirmation message that offers the undo where it happens.
  • Copying a folder in Files copies everything inside it in one step, naming each item uniquely against the neighbours that only exist part-way through the copy.
  • Search scope in Files: the current folder, or everything beneath it.
  • Appearance, accent, dock, window and full-screen settings in the View menu, each row ticking when it is the current setting.
  • QR codes can be copied as an image rather than only saved, where the browser supports it, which is what pasting one into a chat or a slide actually needs.

Improved8

  • The last useful answer stays visible, clearly marked, when a market source is temporarily unavailable; genuinely missing data is still reported as missing.
  • Market-data requests recover more gracefully from temporary source limits instead of failing the whole view at once.
  • The DEX feed no longer fails as a whole when one of its seven sources does. Losing a chain costs breadth; only a total failure is reported, and it reports the first real reason.
  • Stock quotes are asked for in smaller groups, so the Markets tab's larger universe loads instead of being rejected outright. A failed group costs a few cards rather than the screen.
  • The Fear & Greed dial is rebuilt as an index instrument rather than a speedometer: all five bands always present with the live one lit, sixty ticks carrying the value by length, count and hue at once, and a cursor marking the exact reading. It sweeps into position on load, and holds still under reduced-motion.
  • QR Studio, DEX Screener and the Files layouts size themselves from their own window rather than the display, so a narrow window on a wide screen gets the narrow layout.
  • The screener's rankings are one card with a segmented control instead of four cards saying the same thing four times, and moves past 1,000% drop their decimals and separate their thousands so a day-old pool reads as a number rather than a rendering fault.
  • The three market colours are checked for colour-blind separation and contrast against both light and dark surfaces rather than picked by eye; Stocks moves a step darker to clear both. Direction and identity are kept as separate colour vocabularies, so a green bubble never has to mean both "up" and "DEX".

Fixed1

  • A Pump.fun launch with a long name and a real image link could grow past what Solana accepts and be rejected by the wallet as an unexplained failure. The launch is now measured before it is sent and trimmed to fit, giving up the compute limit before the priority fee, since the fee is what gets it landed.
